Monty Mason

Senator Monty Mason is a trusted leader with a proven track record of success. He has served in the Virginia Legislature since 2013, where he has been a tireless advocate for the people of his district. Prior to his election, Monty worked at VISA as a Senior Director of Fraud Prevention and Risk Management. His professional experience has given him a deep understanding of Virginia's unique challenges and the skills necessary to address them. A proud Virginian and graduate of William and Mary, Senator Mason lives in Williamsburg with his wife and two daughters. 

Monty will always defend a woman’s right to choose. He is a staunch ally of the pro-choice movement and believes this issue is deeply personal and private. Monty upholds that the government does not have a right to interfere in a person's healthcare decisions, and the decision if and when to have children is between prospective parents and their doctor.
